Welcome to Sherwood Forest, where the legendary outlaw Robin Hood and his merry band of misfits outsmart the greedy Sheriff of Nottingham at every turn!
When the wicked Sheriff raises taxes and steals from the poor, Robin Hood takes matters into his own handsârobbing from the rich, giving to the needy, and causing absolute chaos in the process! Alongside his trusty sidekicks Little John, Will Scarlet, and Maid Marian, Robin must dodge bumbling Norman and Norma (the Sheriffâs hopeless hench-clowns), pull off daring escapes, and use his wit, skill, and a little bit of mischief to save the day.
Will the Sheriff finally catch Robin Hood? Or will our hero prove that bravery, friendship, and a well-placed joke can defeat even the sneakiest villain?
Grab your bow, keep your wits sharp, and prepare for an adventure full of laughter, action, and a whole lot of fun!
CHARACTER LIST
NARRATOR â A fun-loving storyteller who interacts with the audience, setting up the story and engaging with them throughout.
ROBIN HOOD â The legendary outlaw, clever, daring, and always ready to fight for justice.
MAID MARIAN â Strong-willed and intelligent, she supports Robin and helps him outwit the Sheriff.
SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAM â The greedy and villainous ruler of Nottingham, always scheming to catch Robin Hood.
LITTLE JOHN â Robinâs loyal right-hand man, strong but kind-hearted.
FRIAR TUCK â A jolly, wise friar who enjoys food and laughter but stands firm for justice.
WILL SCARLET â A quick-witted and mischievous member of Robinâs band.
MERRY MEN (Ensemble) â Loyal followers of Robin Hood who assist in his plans and battles.
NORMAN â A fool-type Norman soldier working for the Sheriff, clumsy and not very bright.
NORMA â Normanâs equally foolish partner, always getting things wrong and causing trouble.
SOLDIERS (Ensemble) â The Sheriffâs guards who try (and often fail) to capture Robin Hood.
VARIOUS VILLAGERS (Ensemble) â Ordinary folk suffering under the Sheriffâs unfair taxes. Some get rescued by Robin, others cheer him on.
When Prince Hamlet sees the ghost of his father, the late King of Denmark, he learns a shocking truthâhis uncle Claudius has taken the throne and may be responsible for the kingâs death! Hamlet must decide whether to take revenge and uncover the truth, but pretending to be mad makes things even more complicated. As the palace fills with secrets, spies, and surprises, Hamletâs choices lead to a dramatic and unforgettable ending.
In this 10-minute adaptation, designed for 7-11 year olds, Shakespeareâs gripping tale of ghosts, betrayal, and a princeâs quest for justice is brought to life in an exciting and accessible way. With mystery, intrigue, and a dash of humour, this short version of Hamlet introduces young audiences to one of Shakespeareâs greatest tragedies!
